Panel | Digitale Souveränität in der EU? Wie vollständig dezentrale EUDI-Wallets und dezentrale Identitäten ein sicheres und datenschutzfreundliches europäisches eIDAS-Ökosystem ermöglichen

Secure Elements on one hand and decentralized identifier on the other hand play a vital role in the implementation of a sovereign eIDAS ecosystem in general and a privacy & user-friendly EUDI Wallet in particular . Our panel explore how these technologies address key challenges such as compliance with EU regulations, scalability, and the protection of sensitive data and how both worlds of Secure Elements for fully decentralized identities and HSMs for hybrid solutions for the PID can be integrated smoothly in the EUDI infrastructure. 

Drawing on hands-on experience with secure infrastructure development and a deep understanding of EUDI requirements, we aim to provide technical insights and practical perspectives valuable including an outlook to the combination of identity and transactions using Decentralized Identifiers to ensure trustworthy & legally compliant self-sovereign digital identities within the EUDI Wallet and eIDAS ecosystem
