From EUDI Wallet enablement to Next-Gen trust infrastructure

Day 2

From EUDI Wallet enablement to Next-Gen trust infrastructure

29 April 2026, 14:30 - 14:45

Main Stage

Keynote

The EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet) is becoming a foundational layer for trusted digital interactions across Europe. A connectivity layer allows organizations to request and verify wallet presentations and to issue credentials into wallets, interoperable across national ecosystems. This reduces implementation complexity by abstracting protocol and format variability. Alongside platform enablement, a target vision for a modular, certified Wallet SDK allows selected wallet capabilities to be embedded directly into existing applications. This supports app-native user journeys, enables use-case-specific UX, and helps keeping the customer journey within the organization’s own ecosystem.

To connect today’s enablement to the next wave of EUDI infrastructure, AUTHADA works with mobile network operators and device manufacturers, to enable Secure Elements and eUICCs as widely usable decentralized trust anchors, unlocking true offline capability, decentralization, and a more sustainable EUDI Wallet architecture. The same trust-anchor concepts can extend to other high-assurance domains, from digital assets to security-critical environments."
