Andreas Plies

Andreas Plies is CEO and Co-Founder of AUTHADA and an expert for digital identification and signature solutions. With more than 15 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry, he has led numerous research projects focused on secure digital identity. His work focuses on the regulatory and business implications of eIDAS 2.0, the related implementing acts, and the technological challenges arising for the industry. Together with his team, he actively drives the development of the AUTHADA wallet platform – an interoperable solution designed to enable fast and seamless integration into the EUDI Wallet ecosystem for private sector and public authorities. Andreas is also advancing the conceptual and technological development of the EUDI wallet infrastructure, with a focus on architectures that include Secure Elements and eUICCs.
